Super seniors

Lara, I wonder if your life has yet been overruled by Legos?  Mine certainly has, and almost every other toy in the house sits unused, though I am not allowed to even discuss getting rid of them!  The boy's school started a Lego team that meets weekly for two months to build a project based on a specific theme, which this year, was "Super Seniors."  As in, senior citizens.  There is a national organization that supports and organizes this program that integrates Legos with math, science, and robotics, and they set the theme for each year.  All the local schools participate in a show and ceremony at the science museum.  It was pretty funny to see what these 5-9 year old kids thought of to help out senior citizens!  Then we had some time to run around the museum, and as usual, we ended up mostly in the kid-sized play-market, a place that makes you really wish you were a kid!

Minkä värinen on tiikeri?

Can you guess what color is Tiger?

Last Christmas my daughter received this set of rainbow colors from Grandma. Grandma is picky about artist supplies, so we knew from the beginning these would be quality pencils. But it wasn't til much later that I realized why this is the best set ever!

One day, when they had already been in use for some time, I suddenly noticed each color had a name! Here's a few themes I put together. I'm sure there are many different interesting combinations!

Creatures...

Night-time...

and Fantasy. But there were a few mystery names that didn't speak to me.

Is there anyone out there who can put Mr. Gosh, Flip's Vest, and Whangdoodle in context for me?
