Homemade for the holidays
I think homemade gifts are the best for the holidays. And my favorite kind of gift to make is one that you can eat! By some miracle, today I have nothing on the calendar! I'm not sure yet what I'll be making, but I have been stocking up on the essentials - chocolate, hazelnuts, butter....

Yes, I noticed that, too! I keep going back to the golden illumination in your second picture-it is a rare sight here to have it be sunny, dry, and cold at the same time.
